Chapter one

What we fix

We are a repair shop, not a phone stall. Every job is booked in with a ticket, tested before it leaves, and covered by a 90-day warranty on the part we fitted. If we cannot fix it, you pay nothing.

• Screen & LCD replacement

  iPhone 6 through 15 Pro Max, iPad, and MacBook Retina assemblies. We stock original-grade panels for the models Gambians actually carry, so most screens are done in 45 minutes.

• Battery service

  Health below 80%? We fit a fresh cell, recalibrate the charge cycle, and show you the new reading on the spot. iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Apple Watch.

• Charging port & flex cable

  Won't charge unless the cable sits at an angle — that is a worn Lightning or USB-C port. Micro-soldered or module-swapped, depending on the model.

• Water damage recovery

  Ultrasonic board cleaning, corrosion removal, and component-level repair. Rainy season is our busiest month for this. Bring it in wet, not dried out.

• Data recovery & transfer

  Photos, WhatsApp chats, contacts off a dead or cracked phone onto your new one. We do the transfer with you standing at the counter so you can check it.

• Mac & MacBook service

  Keyboard replacement, fan and thermal service, SSD upgrades, macOS reinstall, and battery swaps on Air and Pro. Diagnostics free with any repair.

• Software & iCloud help

  Locked out, stuck on the Apple logo, update loop, storage full, iCloud backup not finishing. Bring your Apple ID details and we will sort it while you wait.

• Accessories & cases

  Chargers, cables, tempered glass, cases and earphones — the ones we would put on our own phones, not the ones that fail in a month.

The price list

Prices below are what you pay at the counter, parts and labour together. Dalasi, no hidden "diagnostic fee" bolted on at the end. If a model is not listed, call and we will quote you in one minute.

Inside the workshop

We opened on Kombo Sillah Drive in 2014 with one bench, one heat mat and a box of salvaged parts. Ten years later there are three technicians, a microscope for board work, and a queue on Saturday mornings. Most of our customers come because someone in their family was sent here first.

The rule has not changed since day one: the device gets opened in front of you, the fault gets explained in plain language, and you get a price before any tool touches the phone. No "we'll see when we get inside." If the quote changes once we are in, we call you and you decide.

We also take on the jobs other shops turn away — liquid-damaged boards, phones with a previous repair gone wrong, MacBooks that will not boot after an update. Those take longer and we will say so up front.
